Sacred Heart Guild

Mission statement:

The Sacred Heart Guild is a service organization formed to serve the needs of the Altar and those who worship there.

By fostering a community of women whose commission is service, the Guild is able to reach out to the needy, the unborn, the youth, and those preparing for religious life at the same time deepening the spiritual life of its members.

The Guild raises funds through food drives, bake sales, boutiques and donations.

Meetings:

Third Thursday of the month (September thru May) following 7:45 Mass. Coffee and doughnuts served. All women of the parish (part and full time residents) are invited to join.

- Duroville Food Distribution Project
  Father Lincoln has committed to partner Sacred Heart Church with Catholic Charities in this much needed food distribution project for the next two years. - Eucharistic Adoration Ministry

- Eucharistic/ Lector Ministers
  The parish of Sacred Heart has a well defined Eucharistic Ministry Program. Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest at the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass) to distribute the Body and the Blood of Christ to the faithful. We invite those members of the parish who feel called to serve in this ministry to come forward and make yourselves known to the Director of Eucharistic Ministers. - Fellowship of Catholic Christian Women
