Cursillo Movement

What is the
Cursillo Movement?

An encounter with Christ and fellow  Christians.

A movement within the Catholic Church, which uses a specific method to enable people to live a Christ –life, and to spread His message.

Helps people discover and fulfill their personal vocations.

Promotes the creation of core groups of Christians who leaven their environments with the  Gospel.

It Begins:

With a three day experience of living Christianity through “a little course” / Cursillo.     It develops Christian community through daily Mass, the Eucharist, and visits to   The Blessed Sacrament.

On Thursday evening, and ends late afternoon Sunday with participants living,  working, playing, listening, and discussing together talks provided by laity and priests.

With the topics which deal with life, the Christian ideal, our Catholic faith, and God’s directive to spread His word.

It Continues:
With using the Cursillo method to work together to bring other men and women to know and love Christ.

With an invitation to form  a small Christian support group which is joined to larger Christ-centered communities throughout our combined San Bernardino/Riverside Diocese, the       nation , and the world.

Through reunions of  small groups of Christians weekly, and larger community meetings monthly, as well as diocesan gatherings and regional/national gatherings.
