Catechetical Ministry Enrollment Information

Attention:
We will have open enrollment the months of  July and August for:
First Communion Preparation
Continuous Religious Education
Youth Confirmation
 RCIA

Students enrolling for the first time will need Baptismal certificate and First Communion Certificate to register along with Registration fee.


First Communion Preparation: 1st & 2nd Year First Communion Preparation Classes will be held at  9:00 and 10:30 A.M. every Sunday October through May.

Continuous Religious Education: For students in Grades 3-5 will be held in the school, every Tuesday from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM . New session will begin in October.

Youth Confirmation: 1st & 2nd Year Preparation Classes will be held every Monday and Tuesday, October through May. If your student is in High School and needs to complete his/her Sacramental Preparation please contact Yolanda Nieves at 346-6502 or ynieves@sacredheartpalmdesert.com.


RCIA: A faith journey for adults; non-baptized, baptized  in other faiths, and baptized  Catholics who need to complete the sacraments of First Holy Communion and/or              Confirmation, and who seek full membership in the Catholic Church. Preparation for this program will   begin in October, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Salta Pastoral Center. Please   register in the parish office.

Catechist Needed for First Communion Preparation Classes, Confirmation Preparation and Liturgy of the Word for Children.
We invite you to join us as we prepare our students for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion,Confirmation and Liturgy of the Word.
